The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly is held every four years and defines the next period of study for ITU’s Standardization Sector, ITU-T.

In eight working days (20-29 November 2012), the ITU membership will review working methods including approval processes, the work programme and the structure of ITU-T Study Groups.

This blog (The Assembly) is providing up-to-date reports on agenda, content, discussions and decisions, at and around event held in Dubai, and shares an insight into the work that goes on behind the scenes.

Please join in, leave your question and share your viewpoint in the comments!

The Assembly is written by ITU staff and the opinions expressed in the articles and in the comments are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the International Telecommunication Union or its membership. Also, The Assembly is for informational purposes only, not an official meeting output.
